Garri Lynn Gullatt

That’s right! It is pronounced “Gary”. In fact, she was named after her late father, Gary.

Garri joined AMS in January 2016 as a tax preparer and is currently licensed as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. She holds her bachelor’s in business administration and her master’s in accounting. Aside from her tax preparation and bookkeeping duties, she also helps with AMS events and marketing. The AMS annual Shred Day has become one of her favorite events so be sure to look out for this event in the fall of each year. 

After graduating, she discovered her passion for personal finance and decided to pursue a career where she could help people learn and improve their personal financial life. Various opportunities and circumstances moved Garri and her husband from Southern California to New York City, then to Peoria, Illinois, and back to Southern California. Her experience has included financial advising, banking (loan officer, personal banker, and lead teller), and now tax preparation. She has enjoyed every position that she has held, and tax preparation has been no exception. The most satisfying part of her job is to give her clients peace of mind and to help them survive tax time. 

Currently, her family consists of her husband, herself, their son (born in 2015), and daughter (born in 2021). When not at work, Garri enjoys being home with her family, spending quality time with extended family (locally, in Northern California, and in Illinois), attending church, growing her faith, and traveling.
